‘El Torro’ jewellery box

We were asked to design and make this super-unique jewellery box by a client, as a present to a friend – who has a professional interest in livestock!

Made from black walnut and maple, the main ‘body’ was inspired by the ‘Real Leather Symbol’, with 4 curved feet as the ‘hooves’. The drawers with overshot fronts symbolize the head and horns. The internal sections are lamb skin-lined.

(We’ve since been told that only the most special rings go in to the box!)
